# How to Beat Volvagia — Ocarina of Time remake

Subterranean Lava Dragon. Found in Fire Temple. Weakness: The Megaton Hammer on its head as it surfaces. Bring: Megaton Hammer, Goron Tunic, Fairy Bow, Master Sword.

1. Wear the Goron Tunic; without it, the heat drains your hearts fast.
2. Volvagia bursts out of one of nine lava holes around the arena. Back off as it rises, since its body burns on contact, and let its fire breath pass.
3. While its head pokes out of the hole, smash it with the Megaton Hammer to stun it, then slash the head with your sword.
4. When it takes flight, it breathes fire or brings down falling rocks. Watch for their shadows and keep moving, or hang from the platform's edge until the rockfall ends.
5. While it circles overhead, chip at its head with the Fairy Bow.
6. At low health it fakes out of holes before emerging, so wait until it commits before you swing the hammer.
