About The Wayfinder
An independent, ad-light guide built to be used with a controller in your hands.
What this is
The Wayfinder is a complete guide to the 2026 remake of Ocarina of Time on Nintendo Switch 2: a 22-chapter walkthrough, trackers for all 100 Gold Skulltulas and 36 Pieces of Heart, boss fight cards, side quests, and a breakdown of everything new in the remake.
How it's made and checked
The remake keeps the original game's story and dungeon structure, so every route was written from the original game and cross-checked against several long-standing community references. After launch we replay each chapter on Switch 2 and mark it Verified on Switch 2. Steps that sources described differently (49 so far) are first in line for re-checking.
Everything on this site, including all text, diagrams and the map, is original work. We don't reprint Nintendo's art, screenshots or music, including ocarina note sequences.
